7.1 TAPI lines

TAPI TSP Description

Calls that are routed through the soft-phone are signaled by our TSP (Telephony Service Provider) automatically to all other TAPI compliant applications (Outlook Plugin or other third party CRM software). Third party applications can use information that is offered by the phone to open contact windows or notice forms.

Multiline TSP

The TAPI TSP allows the parallel assignment of TAPI Lines.

As a default no individual TAPI Line is set. No further configuration is required. The Softphone Pro runs in a standard mode and is immediately useable (backward compatibility).

If an individual TAPI Line should be used, the desired TAPI Line must be set in the menu Settings -> TAPI settings.

Please note, that it is also needed to set the TAPI Line in third-party applications (TAPI-Client).

Example: Configuring TAPI in Outlook (Windows Dialer)

1. Select a contact. Click the right mouse button and select "Call".

2. The "New Call" windows will be opened.

3. Click at Dialing Options...
