We are pleased to present you Nmeeting+.
This manual helps you to make optimum use of Nmeeting+. Please use this manual at initial operation and follow the instructions in this manual.

In order to use Nmeeting+ as a participant, you will need the latest version of a HTML5 browser (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer (only Web Viewer)).

In order to use Nmeeting+ as a presenter, you will need the Nmeeting+ Client.

Nmeeting+ allows you to share the presenter's screen during a conference call with up to 25 session participants. To share your screen via the Internet, the presenter needs to install and run the Nmeeting+ client. Session participants can either install the client or use the Web Viewer and attend the meeting directly from the browser.
At the beginning of a session a session number is displayed. The user can pass the session number to other participants e.g. by email and they can then attend the session.

When using Nmeeting+ you can use the service as a presenter or as a participant.
If you use Nmeeting+ as a presenter, you need to download the appropriate client.
As a participant, you can optionally use the client, or use a web-based version, the web viewer in your browser.
General conditions:
set conference room in the administration portal
subscription to the conference room in Ncontrol via the administrator PIN (only as presenter)
an extension
an ongoing audio conference
an installed Nmeeting+ client or HTML5 Browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer (only Web Viewer))
configured email program
You have the option to download the Nmeeting+ client on Ncontrol, over the Web Viewer or the download page and install it directly on your operating system. The client is immediately installed and will be started automatically.
In case you would like to use the presentation feature yourself via the Nmeeting+ client, we recommend downloading the client from Ncontrol. In this way appropriate parameters will directly be transferred to ensure smooth functioning.

Activate Nmeeting+ in the administration portal
In order to be able to you Nmeeting+ on your extension the service has to be activated as a feature in the administration portal.
A tariff for all extensions of the customer number can be selected per customer number.
-Log in to the administration portal in order to choose a tariff for your customer number.
-Click on Administration / Profile.
-Choose Nmeeting+ in the dropdown menu under Other settings. Here you can choose to disactivate Nmeeting+ for all extensions as well as your billing type, either a billing per unit ot a flatrate.
-Click on Save in order to enter the settings.
In case this setting will be changed, Nmeeting+ has to be activated again for all extensions.
The billing per unit is only available for existing customers.
Activate Nmeeting+ for one extension
-In order to activate Nmeeting+ for one extension, click on Targets.
-Look for the customer number, then for the extension and double click to get to the setting menu.
-Open the tab Configuration and hack Nmeeting+.

In order to establish a session, a conference room has to be set in administration portal.
Read here how to set a conference room in the administration portal.
Before starting a session, you need to subscribe to the conference room with your extension on Ncontrol. This is optionally possible if you are participant.

There are two possibilities to start a Nmeeting+ conference:
Ad-hoc conference
Conference started over a conference room
Ad-hoc conference
In order to start an ad-hoc conference, click on the ad-hoc conference button. An Nmeeting+ session will be started compeltely independetly from an active conference call.

Conference started over a conference room
Once you have successfully set a conference room in the administration portal and subscribed to the conference room in Ncontrol, you can log in as admin in the conference room.
-Log in to Ncontrol entering your customer number, your extension and your voicemail PIN.
-Click on the conference icon .
-Click on the arrow icon on the right side in the corresponding conference.
-Connect to the conference by phone.
-To connect to the conference, dial the telephone number, which is set for the conference room and enter your admin PIN.
⇒Now you are connected to the conference as an admin.
Once you have successfully connected as an admin, you will see the Nmeeting+ icon activated in the right corner.
-Click on the Nmeeting+ icon in order to start a session.

You will see a pop-up window that will inform you about arising cost according to the tariff chosen for your customer number.
-Click on the green button Start Nmeeting+ session.
⇒As soon as you click on the button, the session will be started and billed.
⇒From now on participants can log in.

You will then see a pop-up window that will show you the current session number and the corresponding password.
⇒ Now you can send invitations to participans by email.
In order to make a presentation, you need the corresponding client for your pc.
-Click on the link Nmeeting+ Client to install the client.
⇒The client will be started automatically after installation. .
-If you have already installed the client, click on Start client.

You can close the session by clicking on the red button. No further presenters can log in. After clicking on the button, the session can still be continued, yet not restarted.

The feature whiteboard allows you to label or mark points on the shared screen.

The feature chat allows participants to chat with each other or the presenter.

The feature file transfer allows you to share files with other participants.

The feature application selection allows you to choose windows that you want to show or hide.Remove the selection of those applications you do not want to show on your screen.
Choose the screen you want to share here, If you use more than one monitor.

This feature is available for Windows only.
Under settings you can adjust such settings as language, picture quality or make configurations on the client.

You can also limit the features of the presenter or participant.
This field will also show you the version number of your client.

-To end a session close the client.
-Click on the pop-up window in Ncontrol and end the session by clicking on he red button Close Nmeeting+ session.
⇒Running sessions will not be stopped. It is not possible to enter a running session now either as a participant or as a presenter. The client and webviewer will show a respective error message.

You have two possibilities to join a Nmeeting+ session:
Joining the session via Ncontrol
You can join the nmeeting+ session via ncontrol is you have booked the corresponding confeence room in advance.
Here you can read how to book a conference room.
-Log in to Ntontrol by entering your customer number, your extension and your voicemail PIN.
-Click on the conference icon .
-Click on the arrow icon on the right side in the corresponding conference.
-Connect to the conference by phone.
-To connect to the conference, dial the telephone number and enter your participant's PIN.
-Click on the symbol Start Nmeeting+ on the top right.
⇒Now you will see the following pop-up window that will give you the choice to join the session either via the Web Viewer or via the Nmeeting+ client.

Joining the session via the Web Viewer
If you have received an invitation to a Nmeeting+ session, you can access the Web Viewer by clicking on the link in the email and join the session.

Joining the session
You have the possibility to participate at a session without presenting.
-Enter your name in the corresponding field of the Web Viewer.
-Tag "Participate right away" and click on the orange button Start the Web Viewer.
Participate in a session and present
You have the possibility to participate at a session and to present, yet only if you download the Nmeeting+ client.
-Enter your name in the corresponding field.
-Tag "Participate + Present".
-If you did not download the Nmeeting+ client, you can download it now by clicking on the link.
-To join the session click on Start client.
If the session has already been started by the presenter, the client opens automatically.
If the presenter has not yet started the session, the following message appears when using the client:
When using the Web Viewer, the participant will be informed via the browser screen that the presenter is not yet present. As soon as the presenter joins, the session starts automatically.
To display the screen transmission in full screen click on the gray bar with the white arrow in the middle. The blue field will then be closed.
On the left side of the Web Viewer you can see the name of the conference room, the session number, the password, the status of the session and the active participants. You can download the Nmeeting+ client that allows you also to use further functions (e.g. file transfer) or to present.

To display the screen transmission in full screen click on the grey bar with the white arrow in the middle. The blue field will then be closed.
As a participant you can show the presenter a certain point of the screen transmission.
-To do so, click on the point you want to show directly in your browser.
⇒The presenter sees where you have clicked.

When you open the client you will first see the participants list, the number of the current session and the password. If there are multiple participants or presenters using the client, the presenter and the control over the presentation can be switched on this window.
In the upper panel, you can choose between the following tabs: participant list, chat, file transfer or settings.

To stop participating in a session:
- close the client or the web viewer.
- hang up the handset to leave the conference call.
